This Annex is one of those thing that you don't need on a camping trip, but once you have one, you don't want to leave on a trip without it. On a trip last late fall, we ended up in Zion National Park in Utah. It began freezing rain, and temps dropped below 30 degrees. I had my wife (on our honeymoon!) and our two dogs with us. We didn't want to leave or go sit inside somewhere.. Instead, we set up the annex, opened the windows, and cranked up our Ignik Firecan. We sat there looking around at the beautiful landscape, comfortable, and what could have been a mess turned out to be one of our favorite days on the trip. It was so cozy inside, our dog fell asleep sitting up (picture 5).
I have since used this countless times for work, as it rains almost every afternoon in Florida during the summers. Its incredibly nice to setup ahead of time, and know you have a clean, dry spot to organize the tools, throw materials in, or just have a place to sit down and get out of the rain. Setup takes a few minutes, and its time well spent.
